@EF Journey – Reflections from a 2016 Eisenhower Agriculture Fellow

Follow along with Jennifer's journey through Nigeria, Ghana and Liberia as she meets with key leaders in the agriculture sector. Jennifer's learning goals are to explore ways to support and scale up urban and peri-urban small holder farmers, including learning from extension programs, training curricula, cooperative networks, technology innovations and other approaches for assisting new entrants to agriculture with pathways to long-term success and sustainability. Jennifer will incorporate strategies into New Entry Sustainable Farming Project’s strategic plan, update New Entry’s farmer training curriculum, and develop plans for scaling farmer support systems regionally and nationally in the US.
